entered on the search criteria screen must match for a document to be found.
2. Grantor and Grantee names are entered in the
form shown by the example: "SMITH JOHN"
(no punctuation).
3. To find Grantor
or Grantee names where you are not sure if name is first or middle name, search for "SMITH%JOHN".
This will find "SMITH JOHN" and "SMITH
ROBERT JOHN".
4. Dates are entered in the form
mm/dd/yyyy.
5. For documents in
the 1986-2006 date range, the Instrument
Number field is a 6-digit sequentially assigned number. So Instrument Number
165150 is the first instrument filed in
1987 and Instrument Number 169079 is the
last instrument filed in 1987. Then 169080 is the
first instrument filed in 1988.
6. For documents
2007 forward, the Instrument Number field consists of a 4-digit year plus a
sequentially assigned number. For example, the first document in 2007 is
2007-1 and the first document in 2008 is
2008-1.
6. We have
images for some documents in the 1986-1998
date range. However, since so many images in this date range are missing, we
have posted our image start date as 02/11/1999.
