ALL data
entered on the search criteria screen must match for a document to be found.
2. Grantor and Grantee names are entered in the
form shown by the example: "SMITH JOHN"
(no punctuation).
3. To find Grantor
or Grantee names where you are not sure if name is first or middle name, search for "SMITH%JOHN".
This will find "SMITH JOHN" and "SMITH
ROBERT JOHN".
4. Subdivision/Block/Lot
and Abstract/Acres searches are incomplete at this time.
5. Dates are entered in the form
mm/dd/yyyy.
6. Volume/Page
should be posted through 06/24/2009. After this the County Clerk quit using
Volume/Page and only uses Instrument Number.
7. Instrument Number
is posted as a 5-digit sequential number. It is reset from year to year. So the
first document for 2001 is 00001 and the first document for 2009 is 00001.
8. Currently, images
only go back to September 9, 1999 although the data goes back to March 5,
1999. We will be adding more historical data in the near future.
